It’s extremely frustrating to hear and see people say, “oh you fafo’d so you deserve what happens to you for your vote and therefore I’m not helping ANYONE except my OWN from now on” knowing damn well not everyone of any group is the same and some are actually your allies or at least potential allies. And it’s frustrating too, because we are already divided so we’re widening those divisions further by by acting like we don’t need each other to take down those in power who are the ones that benefit from our divisions. This is EXACTLY what the status quo wants; for us to isolate ourselves even further because we’re mad at each other, instead of joining with each other (obviously those who are willing) and take that anger to the true enemy. This is far beyond voting; this is on the ground community action supported by mutual aid and really just basic decency.
